Each Nomad Lyocell Wrap is hand dyed using eucalyptus and iron, turmeric or red onion skins.
We scavenge the eucalyptus leaves from out the back of our Nelson Molloy studio in Indooroopilly. We use soy milk as a fixative and then leave the fabric to dry. Next we bundle the eucalyptus leaves, turmeric or red onion in the fabric and boil with extra ingredients. Then we let it cool and dry. We then rinse and dry again. The process in total takes roughly 12 hours and this is all before even producing the garment!
Each order is individually crafted and made so there is minimal waste within our collection.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to being individually made, each lyocell wrap will vary from piece to piece.
Add another layer of individuality to every outfit you wear. Wear it in your hair in many ways or as a wrap to give a loose fitting garment some shape or colour. Thread it through your jean's belt loops to take them up a notch in style.
