Regenerate your old garments with botanical dyes.
We will use foraged for materials from my very Australian Indooroopilly back yard and locally found flora in Westend, Meanjin.
We will soak garments in a mordant where required
We will experiment with folding techniques for different finishes or just go with the flow
We will use Eucalyptus leaves ,Turmeric ,Madder Root and food waste
Bring in a maximum of 2 pale coloured garments or some fabric
We will have some quick drinks and nibbles
It’s a day for you to learn some new tricks but mainly for you to take some time for yourself.
The experience will be quite immersive .
All materials are provided apart from your garments you'd like to dye!
